Elbow Cay, Near Hope Town, Abaco in the Bahamas. This elegant estate includes a luxurious main house, furnished in the English tradition, and below a courtyard apartment with private entrance. If the main house is rented, we will not rent the guest apartment to another party.

THE MAIN HOUSE:
Three bedroom/two bath, modern, elegant, luxurious and spacious air conditioned stone house 50 feet from the sea on a seven acre estate. The interior of the house is furnished in the English Tradition with extensive use of Honduras mahogany trim. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms with central air conditioning and fans in every room. The large living room has a cathedral ceiling and is adjacent to the tiled gourmet kitchen. The living room opens onto a large covered balcony with fabulous views of the Sea of Abaco. The balcony features casablanca fans and Lane Ventura furniture. A mahogany staircase leads from the main room to an upper level area with a bedroom with twin beds, a library and a small office. The main living room has cable TV, telephone, VCR, tape and disc stereo and a VHF radio. A panelled corridor leads to a bath and two large bedrooms, one of which has a bath en suite. All is centrally air conditioned.
The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, gas stove and oven, microwave, dish washer, Cuisinart food processor, ice maker and all the necessary utensils. The lovely dining area has a beautiful view of the Sea of Abaco. There is a separate breakfast bar.

THE GUEST QUARTERS:
The recently renovated guest quarters are located on the ground floor with a private entrance and spacious decks to the side and front facing the sea. The whole interior area is covered with Italian tile. There are two bedrooms, one a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite, the other with two single beds and a second bathroom. There is a large kitchen/living area with French windows opening onto the deck. There is a new electric stove/oven, microwave, large new refrigerator, cable TV, and ancillary kitchen equipment. The house, being stone, has a lovely natural coolness, but there is air conditioning and fans in every room.

THE GROUNDS AND SHORE:
The house is surrounded with landscaped gardens of bushes, palms and other tropical plants. There are two orchards, the lower garden of citrus, oranges, limes, and grapefruit, and an upper garden with bananas, mangos, avocados, carambola, tangerines and lemons. Walkways lead from the house to the sea. One of these walkways is without steps and leads to a large seafront deck. There is a boat slip with easy access to the sea and a 100 foot dock that can accommodate a yacht to 60 feet along with ample space for smaller boats. You have a beautiful private bay to yourselves for incredible swimming and snorkeling or you may choose to fish off the dock. Ekali is sheer luxury and every convenience is provided.

FACILITIES:
There is a standby diesel generator located away from the house. All water supplies are fitted with 0.5 micron final filters to insure purity. There is a backup desalinization plant capable of supplying 1000 gallons of pure fresh water a day. The house has its own paved road connecting to the main island paved road. It is approximately 5 minutes to downtown Hope Town by golf cart. There are local restaurants that will pick you up and deliver you back to the house.

Activities and Attractions:

BOAT RENTALS:
We recommend Island Marine (242-366-0282) who has 17 ft. Boston Whalers, 20 ft. and 23 ft. Man-O-War center consoles. They are very reliable and nearby.

GOLF CART RENTALS:
We recommend Island Cart Rentals (242-366-0332). The carts rent for $210 per week.

TRANSPORTATION AND CUSTOMS:
USAir, Gulfstream (Continental) and Airways International service Marsh Harbour from West Palm Beach and some of these from Ft. Lauderdale. American Air Lines, Gulf Stream Int'l. Air, & Airways Int'l. service Marsh Harbour from Miami. USAir flies from Orlando. Island Express services Marsh Harbour from Ft. Lauderdale. Bahamas Air also serves from South Florida and Vintage Jets and Props from Daytona/New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Best choices are USAir and American AirLines. Most have 800 numbers and different types of off price fares. Schedules and airlines may change from time to time so it is good to check.

Guest Quarters weekly: ($1400 - 1-4 people)

Deposit upon rental is $750. Balance is due 5 weeks prior to arrival. Along with the final check, send a separate check as a damage deposit made payable to Mary Freeman for $250. The $750 rental deposit and final rental payment checks should be made payable to C.B. Rentals.
The cancellation policy is that a refund less $100 will be made if other guests are found to replace the cancellation.
