Relax around the pool or in the tropical garden as you listen to the gentle sound of water cascading from the natural rock fountain into the pools. Enjoy a siesta in one of the hammocks under the palapa covered patio and catch the scent of jasmine in the air. Blossoms of bougainvilleas, hibiscus and copa de oro accent the garden along with banana trees, a lime tree and a beautiful, large tropical shade tree. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants, yet just 500 yards from the Mexican Caribbean. On 10th Ave. South in the Corpus Cristi section, this is consider by many to be the nicest residential area on Cozumel. You'll experience more privacy and room than a hotel plus enjoy fully equipped kitchens, phones and maid service. All linens, towels and beach towels are provided, there are two safes for valuables, an internet access account for your laptop, hair dryers and purified water is delivered for you. There’s a lovely stone patio area with tropical plants, a ceramic tiled swimming pool and a privacy fence surrounds it all. Just inside the gate is a curved wrought iron trellis with lush bougainvilleas that add a bit of privacy to the pool area. There are reclining lounge chairs around the pool and a covered patio with a ceiling fan, table, and chairs. Since Villas Topaz actually consists of two totally separate and private two bedroom/two bath vacation homes, it can be rented as either a two bedroom or a four bedroom. Each unit has a living/dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, color TV with cable, VCR, CD player, and a telephone for local calls. For your enjoyment there’s a selection of tapes, CDs, and a small reading library. Both kitchens are fully-equipped, each with a stove, refrigerator, blender, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric juicer, dishes, glasses, cookware, utensils and plenty of purified water. Each unit also has a small safe with a programmable digital lock, an iron an ironing board, fold-away drying rack and hair dryers. Downstairs in the two bedroom unit called Casa Topaz is only steps away from the pool through sliding glass doors from the living area and both bedrooms. We call the two bedroom unit upstairs Casa Tomás, and you may be a few more steps away from your dip in the pool, but you'll enjoy a small front terrace and a private screened porch. The air conditioning throughout is remote controlled and very quiet, there are ceiling fans, special cushioning on all four king-size beds for extra comfort and a pressurized water system for strong showers. The solid wood Mexican rustic furniture is upholstered in imported fabrics, the custom made curtains are fully lined and there’s an assortment of local decorations, original paintings, art and traditional talavera pottery. Daily maid service is included on weekly stays (except for Sundays and major holidays). All bed linens, bath, and beach towels are provided. As a four bedroom with 4 comfortable king size beds and a double size futon, Villas Topaz is designed for up to 10 guests. If you prefer we can change one of the king-size beds downstairs into two twins. If there are fewer in your group, you may wish to rent just one of the two bedrooms to sleep up to five guests. Rates:
